As we begin our New Year we are giving our year a theme or title. Young children see everyday and everything as new and a great adventure. Children dive into their play time with new joy and happiness everyday.
Children learn through their play time and don't even realize it. So while they are experiencing new play time they have picked up a new skill or sharpened a old skill. Children have to daily build on their fine motor skills and large motor skills and social emotional skills. Parents and Providers have to make available new experience and age appropriate toys or equipment for children to continue to thrive. As adults we want to put a label on the beginning of this New Year; but it is great and new each and everyday in a children's eye. Follow their lead and enjoy each and every new day. Children are full of Love. They are always happy. They are always ready for a hug. Children are full of love. Give your child a hug today. Happy Valentine Day.
I know we all miss our warm weather; however Children love winter activites. Children love ice skating, skiing, snow ball fights for ourtdoor activities then baking and board games for indoor activities. These many activities help children with their gross motor and fine motor development as well as social emotional skills. Children learn through play. Even though it is not sunny and 80 degrees children still can have fun and they can learn at the same time. Enjoy the winter time everyone.
Trinity Daycare We have just finishing with our season of Thanksgiving and now we are going into Christmas where we usually give gifts in a box. We should not limit our giving to a box. There are so many ways that we can give. There are so many lonely people and people of great need that we could be helping. We could give someone a call to someone that is alone during the holiday or invite someone to dinner that may be going thru a hard time, to name a couple of ways we could give. You can decide how to give; because giving is from the heart and we don't want to be limited by a box. Have a wonderful holiday
As Thanksgiving approaches we are reminded of all the people and things we are so thankful for. It is easy in the rush of the day to forget how blessed we are for the wonderful people in our lives and how they make our lives richer. It is also easy to forget how blessed we are to have to homes, jobs and good health. We have to remain thankful because things change in a flash and we don't want to take anyone or anything for granted. Enjoy your holiday
Trinity Daycare This has been on of the most memorable summers I have had in a long time. I have attended family events almost every weekend and it is so good to spend time with family. I have travel to the west coast and visited cities that I have never been to before. While on the west coast I attended the National Family Child Care Conference and learned so much about working with parents and their children and about running a childcare business. The conference was wonderful and resort was the best. The summer of 2016 has been good and it is not over yet. I encourage you to spend as much time with your family as possible and enjoy your summer.
Trinity Daycare Children are creative and enjoy expressing themselves. Art is a way to allow their self expression and to include a few lesson in color, counting. sizes and shapes. This summer has been a great time to do all of those things. Please like and share Trinity Daycare Post. Have a great day Trinity Daycare My recent trip to the Family Child Care Conference in San Diego , California was such a great learning experience. In the appropriate math sequences class with Mr. John Funk I learned that we really have to make sure that little ones are getting a good foundation in their lesson so that they are not frustrated later in their education because they are missing key elements at the beginning of their education. In the Media class I took I learned that all the work we do in early child care will go unnoticed if we don't reach out to the community through social media where people go for information. In the ways to make Quality Connections course I learned that it's not just about the service you provide it is also about the connection you have with them. The last class I took was yoga and it taught me that I have to have balance in order to serve the little ones I work with every day.
Today we will be celebrating another daycare child's birthday. It is so rewarding to watch as they go from crawling to walking, from the bottle to the cup and from baby babble to talking ALOT:). It is all great. To take part in another families milestones of their child is a blessing. Last week we celebrated a High School graduation of another daycare child. It is amazing and children are a blessing. Have a great day everyone
